Avinor tests the first fully electric airport sprayer in Oslo

3/17/2025—Since January, the first fully electric airport sprayer has been tested at Gardermoen Airport in Oslo. The new eASP from Schmidt is built on an all-electric Volvo FM truck. With its new spraying system, the eASP applies the deicing agents even more efficiently and in a way that conserves resources. The positive feedback from Avinor has also sparked curiosity at other airports.

Aebi Schmidt Group successfully signs a syndicated loan for 600 million US dollars

3/11/2025—CH-Frauenfeld, March 11, 2025 – Aebi Schmidt Group is pleased to announce the successful closing of a USD 600 million syndicated loan agreement. The financing was arranged by UBS Switzerland AG and Zürcher Kantonalbank and was significantly oversubscribed. The agreement is a milestone in the success of Aebi Schmidt Group's planned Nasdaq listing.

Special escort for the AS990 in Malaysia

With police escort, four new AS990 on Mercedes Benz Arocs were transferred from the cargo port on the coast of Malaysia to the air base of Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).
