Central Warehouses
The European central warehouse of the Aebi Schmidt Group has been located in Laatzen near Hanover (Germany) since 2009. Over 57,000 square feet of interior space, an impressive number of high racking systems are lined up next to each other. An additional 30,000 square feet of storage space is provided outside the building. Stocked in around 76,000 storage places, spare parts from 1mm screws to 8-meter long roller cores are kept ready for dispatch.
In 2023, Aebi Schmidt North America opened a central logistics center in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Spanning 17,500 square feet, it efficiently houses over 2,500 parts supporting all American brands as well as Schmidt and Aebi. With growing demand and innovation, it expands to accommodate customers across North America. Every inch reflects precision, ensuring swift dispatch of components.
Sustainability
Sustainability doesn't just happen by itself. It comes from how we think and act. And ultimately, from how consistent we are about it. As a company, it is our responsibility to invest in progress and in the future. But that also applies to our customers; everything we develop and produce also needs their commitment when put into practice.
Sustainability is an essential part of our business activities. Our customers expect it of us, and we are convinced that sustainable companies are a step ahead of the rest and are more successful in the long term.
Our economic, social, and environmental targets are being implemented along the entire value chain. We care about protecting the environment and use resources sparingly. As an industry-leading employer we continue to invest in sustainable technologies. We will act in a responsible and credible way along the entire value chain. This has resulted in valuable progress being made in recent years in terms of environmental awareness at our plants, in our processes and in our machines.
Generation E - Charge the Change
At Aebi Schmidt, we believe that sustainability is a Group-wide responsibility and not that of any one department. In 2018, we launched the Generation E program because the development and application of new technologies requires us to think in a completely new way. For us, ‘smart thinking’ means switching to sustainable, responsible and cost-cutting technologies with zero emissions, and a careful use of our resources. Our approach is guided by three imperatives:
Re-think: We have been developing a new electrified approach to the market, which includes the new eSwingo200+ and eCleango 550 compact sweepers, the street washer eCityJet3030, the eSyntos pre-wetted salt spreader and other concepts. Developing and using new technology means we have to redefine our way of thinking.
Re-charge: The main driver behind a good circular economy is the ability to sustain the inherent value of the product in its parts. Therefore, we strive to reuse as much material as possible to avoid mere recycling/downcycling. Sometimes, parts can get a second purpose in a different function. And, naturally, for those resources that have no other use, we prioritize selective waste sorting.
Re-invest: Sustainability doesn’t happen by itself. It is a way of thinking and acting. As a major company, it is our responsibility to invest in progress. But in the end, this also includes our clients. Everything we develop and produce is affected by our clients. And every single, sustainable machine is an investment in our common goal: a healthy planet.
Code of Conduct
The Code of Conduct defines the corporate responsibility and applicable ethical standards by which we operate and addresses issues such as data privacy, environmental protection, fair competition and anti-corruption. By having a clear definition of responsibilities, risk management and efficient control systems, the Aebi Schmidt Group makes sure that all statutory provisions and industry standards in a complex regulatory environment are observed.
The codes of conduct for suppliers & business partners and for our employees can be found in the Compliance section under Downloads.
