Construction

The UTG is built with a rugged stainless-steel hopper designed to handle a variety of materials, and the slot and tab construction enhances the fit and durability of the spreader. The UTG also features 18-inch poly spinner that can be removed without tools, and the hinged top cover both protects the spreader during regular dump body operations and allows the dump truck to remain functional when not in use as a spreader. The electric UTG Premium models are available with driver side or center discharge options.

Motor

The UTG hopper is equipped with independently controlled, sealed ½-hp stainless-steel auger motor and a ½-hp explosion-proof spinner motor for dependable operation in all winter conditions. Marine-grade sealed electrical connections ensure a watertight seal, minimizing downtime and interruptions.
