The cleaning team at the municipal construction depot in Waldshut-Tiengen, with Andreas Alex as the full-time driver and his deputy, Richard Schliffke, is pleased about the purchase of a new Swingo 200+ sweeper. The sweeper with a capacity of 1.5 cubic meters, together with the large sweeper, which can take up six cubic meters of dirt, forms the street cleaning fleet for the entire city area.
The small machine, which has now been presented to the press by the head of the construction depot Reiner Jehle together with the two drivers, comes on a road network of a total of 60 kilometers, mainly in the pedestrian zones in Waldshut and Tiengen, on sidewalks and cycle paths, as well as on all kinds of public roads Areas such as station forecourt, parking lots or underpasses are used.
Because of its low height, it can even be used to clean the Kornhauskeller, explains Reiner Jehle in an interview with Südkurier. During normal cleaning services, the machine is in use for around eight hours a day on normal working days. The machine, which, in addition to the two round brooms, has an additional device for removing weeds from curbs, is a great help in keeping inner-city areas clean, the interviewees agree. It is in use around 1200 hours a year and was procured as a replacement for the previous machine.
