The lead article of "Spotlight on Switzerland", the title of the publication, mentions, among other things, a first-class business-friendly legal and regulatory framework, which provides a stable and supportive environment and is therefore one of the most important strengths of the Swiss economy. Thanks in part to this environment, the Aebi Schmidt Group has succeeded in further expanding its leading position in recent years. The expansion of the business in North America, where the Group now generates 53% of net sales, has also contributed to the Group’s growth.
Asked for his future ambitions, Barend Fruithof says: "We aim to further grow our business in the USA by another 10-15%," adding: "our focus is crystal clear - to seamlessly integrate our cutting-edge technologies." Compact sweepers with European technology are already in use in cities such as Charlotte, Seattle and New York. Yet, the machines are produced in Europe, but the aim is to manufacture them in the USA, too. "The potential is immense, especially as we champion sustainability with solutions like our electrically-driven compact sweeper."
