Ladog has been part of the Aebi Schmidt Group for two months. Over the past decades, the company has made a name for itself on the market by constantly adapting to market requirements and continuously incorporating new developments into the development of narrow-track and compact vehicles. Björn Guggenbühler, CEO of Ladog, and his team have passed on their knowledge of the unique features, benefits and strengths of the products to the CEOs of the other European countries.
Safety features are constantly being expanded
Not only the Ladog vehicles, but almost the entire product portfolio of the Aebi Schmidt Group will be equipped with new safety features in the course of the current year. The updates are driven on the one hand by regulatory requirements, such as the new DIN EN 17106 standard for sweepers, or the General Safety Regulation GSR II in the EU, which ensures greater safety in road traffic in general. On the other hand, vehicles – or actually better: workplaces – are becoming increasingly operator-friendly and safer thanks to a combination of new technology and intelligent concepts.
More multifunctionality and an even wider range of products
The diversity of the Aebi Schmidt Group's range has always been unique. The unparalleled roster of options and our promise to offer solutions rather than products has led to further attachments for multifunctional machines, such as the flail mower power arm for the Schmidt Flexigo 150. But better solutions are not necessarily new products. Over time, solutions to many needs of first individual customers have been incorporated into series production. Hence, products and services can be deployed far more flexibly than ever before and meet yet unknown requirements of tomorrow.
The exchange of experience between country teams and business units is not only valuable, but a prerequisite for continuing to gain market share. In the Aebi Schmidt Group culture, this exchange is firmly anchored in everyday life, often across borders via video call and telephone. "Thinking through and scrutinising solutions together on the machines and vehicles creates a completely different dynamic. The direct and personal exchange not only brings a breath of fresh air, but also the necessary inspiration and motivation to tackle our next steps with full vigour," says Henning Schröder, Head Sales and Product Management Europe.
