Meyer |Spreader|Base Line Insert Hopper
Hopper
The Meyer Base Line Insert Hopper Spreaders come in two configurations, each designed for efficient material handling. The BL-600 features a removable stainless-steel spinner with adjustable baffles. The BL-800 features a lightweight poly spinner assembly with formed handles and pins, making removal for maintenance and storage a breeze. Both spinner types allow for precise control over the spread pattern, with up to a 30-foot range.
Both models utilize a durable 16-gauge stainless steel construction for superior corrosion resistance, with an economical 14-gauge carbon steel option available for the BL-800.
Both models feature Meyer's Material Movement System (MMS), which incorporates a stainless steel inverted-V design and a drag chain conveyor to ensure reliable, consistent flow of material to the spinner. The included top screens help break up large chunks of material before they even enter the hopper.
Engine
The Base Line Spreaders have several engine options available to suit your specific needs, and provide ample power to handle even the toughest de-icing materials. Choose from a 6.5-hp or 10.5-hp Briggs & Stratton gas engine, or an 11-hp Honda engine for those seeking maximum power. For those looking for an electric option, a dual-electric 12-volt motor is also available.
In-Cab Controller
The Base Line Spreaders come with an in-cab controller that features an electric-start and allows for complete operation without having to exit the vehicle.
