That’s why in 12 European countries our regional after-sales teams ensure that our equipment operates smoothly. One of these teams is part of Aebi Schmidt Ibérica, making sure our machines perform at their best in Spain and Portugal.

On Duty in Portugal: Maintenance or Pleasure?

Our colleague Daniel Mejías is one of Aebi Schmidt Ibérica’s dedicated service technicians. Recently, he traveled to Portugal to commission and hand over a Schmidt Supra 5002 to a customer. Having been part of our team since 2018, he is one of our top experts in winter maintenance equipment. Almost every week, he’s on the road—a job he truly enjoys. In an interview, he shares with a smile, “I love teaching drivers and technicians how to operate our machines – and I have to admit, the adrenaline rush from handling the Supra is pretty great too!” he jokes.

More Than Just a Job

Daniel’s work is dynamic: every week, his schedule is planned to deliver machines and meet the specific needs of each customer. But he brings more than just technical expertise—he builds real connections with the people. “The personal contact is very important to me. If I can help, I do—whether I’m on duty or not,” he says. At Aebi Schmidt, working in service means more than just doing a job—it’s a mindset. Daniel embodies this: “My advice? Stay motivated, be eager to learn—it’s a dynamic job where you gain new experiences every day.”
