The right wheel for every terrain

You can't reinvent the wheel?! This does not apply to our new double wheel system. Aebi offers a new, innovative double wheel concept for the Combicut motorised mowers in the large series. After a one-time pre-installation, the new system allows dual wheels to be attached in just a few seconds and removed again, for example for transporting the single axle machine.

Agricultural businesses in mountainous regions and municipal services rely on dual tyres in challenging terrain. This provides safety and grip on steep slopes, but also helps to protect the sensitive turf. On our Terratracs and transporters, the double wheels usually remain permanently mounted on the vehicle. Single-axle vehicles, on the other hand, are often transported to their place of use and do not fit on a trailer with double wheels. The time-consuming mounting and demounting of dual wheels is much quicker and more efficient with the new CC double wheel concept.

One-time pre-installation

The double wheel system consists of a base plate and a spacer. The one-time pre-installation takes place in three steps:

  1. Loosen the screws on the base tyres, fit the base plate and screw it back on together with the base tyres.
  2. Place the spacer on the base plate and fix it with the centre screw using the tool supplied.
  3. Place the double wheel on the spacer and screw it in place.

Fitting double wheels in seconds

Save time from now on. The double wheel can be removed by loosening the centre screw and reattached just as easily. The necessary tool is supplied and can be stored in the machine's compact tool box.

Sophisticated and without compromise

The robust system offers further advantages in use compared to other solutions. The base plate transfers the forces of the double wheel directly to the machine. This reduces the load on the rim of the base wheel and prevents scratches and damage. The double wheels always run centred and absolutely parallel to the base tyres.

Compatible with existing tyres

The double wheel system is designed for all Aebi motorised mowers in the large series. It is compatible with the Aebi standard wheel rim. This means that existing tyres can still be used - but will be installed much faster in the future.

New pneumatic tyres

We now also offer a new pneumatic spiked wheel. It can be used as basic tyres or as dual tyres. It offers grip on steep terrain, optimum driving comfort and protects the soil.
